How do Blast Zone Inflatables work?

Blast Zone Bouncers work off of continuous airflow.  This means that a blower (included) pumps air into the bounce house the whole time it is in use.  Pores in the seams and material allow air to escape as kids jump and play, while the blower continues to inflate the unit.  To learn more about the history of bounce houses, check wikipedia.

What do I get?

Every Blast Zone inflatable includes the inflatable unit, a UL approved blower and a carrying case.  The inflatable unit rolls up to about the size of a large sleeping bag (depending on bouncer).  Most of our inflatable toys ship via UPS in one box that includes everything.  To set up the bouncer, just unroll it, hook the inflation tube to the blower, turn on the blower and stake it down.  The blower runs continuously while kids play, and air escapes through the seams and fabric.

BLAST ZONE BOUNCERS ARE FOR RESIDENTIAL USE.  FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES, PLEASE SEE OUR COMMERCIAL USE CATEGORY.

What are commercial bounce houses?

Commercial bounce houses are designed for regular, continuous use.  The main difference with commercial bounce houses are that they are manufactured using .45mm fiber-reinforced PVC, stitched with industrial threading.  For business purposes this material meets required fire-retardant specifications.  Blast Zone makes Commercial units designed for rentals, Churches, Community Centers, Day Cares, etc.

While Blast Zone home use inflatables are made of the highest quality materials and specs, they are not recommended for commercial type applications due to commercial regulations and the nature of use.

Can I repair a bounce house?

Yes.  In the rare case that repairs are needed, the best way to repair a bounce house is to sew the tear or hole, using strong thread.  Blast Zone Inflatables use a balanced cross weave material.  Most material has an uneven number of threads in each direction of the weave.  This means that if it is sewn it can easily tear.  Because Blast Zone Bounce Houses use Even Balanced Weaving (EBW),  our bouncers can be sewn without problems.  Use the included patch to reinforce the sewing, much like a pair of pants.

How many people can use a bounce house?

Generally, 2-6 kids can play in our residential bounce houses.  The maximum allowable weight per user is 100lbs.  Please use common sense practices for safe play.  Each of our units will specify the maximum occupancy.

Can you use bounce houses indoors?

While bounce houses can be used indoors, Blast Zone recommends staking/anchoring all bounce houses.  Movement from kids jumping around will naturally move the bouncer all over the room.

Can adults use the bouncers?

Come on, read the sign!  No adults allowed!  While adults can FIT on our inflatables, adults over 100lbs are not recommended for the safety of kids and the longevity of the inflatables.

Can Bouncera be used on driveways streets, etc?

No, always use bouncers on clean, soft, debris-free surfaces, such as lawns.  Please respect children's safety.

What Kind of Power Do I need?
Blast Zone Bouncers run off of 110v power, and require a consistent flow of power for operation.  If you plan to use these in an area that doesn't have power readily available, you will need a generator.

What's the  difference between Commercial and residential bouncers?

There are two main differences: Materials and regulations.  We are aware that people buy our bounce houses for rental use, but blast Zone Bouncers are not recommended or certified for commercial use.  We design our bouncers to be extremely durable, so you can get multiple uses out of them, so the tag "residential grade" is not an indication of quality, although commercial inflatables do take into account the rigors of regular rental abuse.

Rental businesses, however, are subject to the the standards of governing bodies.  This means that local codes, such as state law and fire code must be followed.  Usually these are based on ASTM standards.  Some states have special requirements for fire retardant materials, etc., and may even require inflatable devices to be registered with the governing body.  Check IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) and ASTM regulations for "Amusement businesses."

Usually requirements include an attendant to monitor the device, a specific insurance policy, anchoring, etc.  While the inflatable business can be a convenient and lucrative business, it is very important that requirements are followed.  As a business owner, you are at risk, and should take the necessary precautions to insure the safety and compliance of both your business and your patrons.

How does the in stock guarantee work?

We understand need for our bounce houses to arrive in time to make little princesses and princes delighted!  This is why we guarantee every item noted as "ships within 24 hrs" to be in stock, and to ship out the same day they're ordered (via UPS), unless the item is noted as out of stock on the website.  If for any reason an item that shows in stock is out-of-stock, we will upgrade you to the next BETTER item for FREE.

Yes.  People like to bounce on Islands and Icebergs as well.  What they don't like is paying extra shipping, so your shipping is free too.
